2013 Reading Challenge Progress – January

Image

I got off to a good start for my reading challenge this year. Half way through January I realized I had already read 3 books. And then I kind of stalled out there. My early quick burst can be credited to the Maze Runner series which I was obsessed with in early January. I picked up the first one on a whim because it just seemed like it might be interesting, and it sucked me in so fast. I’m currently reading the Maze Runner prequel, the Kill Order but I’m having a harder time getting into that one because it’s not the same characters I fell in love with in the first 3 books. I might honestly put it aside for a bit and read something else, then come back to it when I’m more in the mood for it. We’ll see.

So far I’ve read:

January

  1. The Maze Runner by James Dashner (paperback, 374 pages)
  2. The Scorch Trials by James Dashner (paperback, 360 pages)
  3. The Death Cure by James Dashner (hardcover, 324 pages)
