I just celebrated my 29th birthday on Tuesday the 5th and like the book lover that I am, the only thing I asked for was gift cards for Chapters so I could buy books. Clearly my loved ones listened and so today after work I got to go enjoy the results of their generosity.
Now, I’ll be the first to admit I don’t have the most grown up taste in books. Yes, at nearly 30 I am still reading things from the Young Adult/Teen section. But you know what? I like what I like.
The books I got are:
The Walking Dead – The Road to Woodbury by Robert Kirkman and Jay Bonansinga
The Walking Dead – Rise of the Governor by Robert Kirkman and Jay Bonansinga
Everneath by Brodi Ashton
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare (is actually book 2 in the Mortal Instruments series. I have book 1 but I haven’t started yet)
The Office of Mercy by Ariel Djanikian
The Ex-Debutante by Linda Francis Lee
Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Sever by Lauren DeStefano
There’s Cake In My Future by Kim Gruenenfelder
The Language of Sisters by Amy Hatvany
Partials by Dan Wells
Cum Laude by Cecily Von Ziegesar
Sorry this isn’t a more interesting post, I’m too excited to go read at the moment. Have you read any of these books?
