Taking a Blogging Break – Writing a Book???

Hey there book lovers!

I’ve been taking a bit of a blogging break lately. Not intentionally – necessarily – I just couldn’t seem to finish any of the blog posts I started and I didn’t really want to join in on any memes or challenges or anything like that. I’ve just been very uninspired when it comes to blogging. Sometimes taking a little break is exactly what you need though to reset.

I have however been super motivated when it comes to writing stories, which has been a really good feeling and I’m starting to think I might look into self publishing the story I’m currently working on once I finish it.

I’ve been really into writing stories ever since I was very little, but I don’t usually let anyone read any of my writing for multiple reasons. Lately though I’ve been really interested in learning about the process of self publishing. I want to try it and learn how it works and I figured why not just get over my fear of sharing my work and go for it?

So I think I’m going to. It still makes me incredibly nervous, and part of the reason I’m mentioning it here now is so that hopefully it will help hold me accountable and keep me from backing out.

Now I want to know: are any of you writers? Have you published any books? If so drop a link for where I can purchase it in my comments and I’ll go check it out! And do you have any suggestions or advice for someone looking into self publishing?

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
